AIB Holds Seminar on Goal Setting

ACLEDA Institute of Business on Friday 17th November held a Seminar on Goal Setting for High School Graduates seeking admission into University.

It will be recalled that Grade 12 Students of Cambodia Schools took their final High School Diploma Exams on 7th November and will be looking to go into university thereafter.

About 100 Students attended the Seminar presided over by the Managing Director of ACLEDA Institute of Business Dr. Phon Narin

Mr. Thab Chanthorn, Junior head of the Department of Foreign Languages gave the opening Speech in which he welcomed all the participants and urged them to pay attention to the presentations by the distinguished Lecturers.

The keynote Address was delivered by Mr Pring Ravun, lecturer in the Department of Foreign languages in which he made a presentation on the importance of Goal Setting. He noted that as High Scvhool graduate, this is the right time to set a goal for the future regarding what they want to become.

Ms Ou Chanpov, an Alumni of AIB and current Manager of Student Support Program presented about the various programs available for the students.

Mr. Thab Chanthorn, Junior head of the Department of Foreign Languages Presented about the Department of Foreign Language and highlighted about the programs of the DFL. He introduced each of the Full Time Faculty members and gave them 2 minutes each to introduce themselves and talk about their respective courses being taught. He also introduced the Part Time Faculty members.

Mr Norn Phirum, Head of the DBA Program also presented about the DBA Programs available for the students to choose while Mr Chhay Phinavuth Head of DST p[resented about the DST programs.

Mr. Nauch Sovichia, Head of marketing and Career Centre also took time to present to the students about choosing a Career.
